HOMEMADE BLUE MAGIC

CASHEW MYLK...

makes about 2 liters fresh cashew mylk, enjoy within 3-5 days

Ingredients:

    • Cashews, raw, whole or in pieces
    • Spirulina, organic, powder or tablets
    • Dates, pitted
    • Sea salt

    To make:

    1. Soak 2 cups of cashews for 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator. *If you're pressed for time, you can skip this step for a little courser consistency.
    2. Drain cashews and transfer to high speed blender.
    3. Add 6 cups filtered water.
    4. Add 4-8 pitted dates or until desired sweetness is achieved. (I like 6 but it depends on the quality of the dates as well, some are sweeter!)
    5. Add 1/2 - 1 tsp spirulina. (The more you add, the more nutritional benefits, but it tastes a bit earthy if you will, I usually do 1/2 tsp)
    6. Add a pinch of sea salt. (I just do 1-2 turns of a course salt shaker. It's less than 1/16 tsp, just a tiny amount)
    7. Blend until combined.

    Cacao Cashew Mylk...

makes about 2 liters fresh cashew mylk, enjoy within 3-5 days

    Ingredients:

    • Cashews, raw, whole or in pieces
    • 2 tb cacao powder
    • Dates, pitted
    • Sea salt

    To make:

    1. Soak 2 cups of cashews for 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator. *If you're pressed for time, you can skip this step for a little courser consistency.
    2. Drain cashews and transfer to high speed blender.
    3. Add 6 cups filtered water.
    4. Add 4-8 pitted dates or until desired sweetness is achieved. (I like my cacao mylk on the sweeter side, so usually do a full 8.)
    5. Add a pinch of sea salt. (I just do 1-2 turns of a course salt shaker. It's less than 1/16 tsp, just a tiny amount)
    6. Blend until combined.

    MEAL PREP HACK:

Soak 4 cups of cashews, then divide in 1/2 to make both flavors. Each recipe is about the max amount that fits in the Vitamix blender at once.
